Ad-hoc Networking

    Self-forming, self-healing TDMA network is one of the key advantages of GR-8416 radio, enabling terminals join the network in tactical environments. 2-hop automatic relaying efficiently extends the coverage in the battlefield enhancing seamless connectivity for airbornes and ground vehicles. Scalable networking is unique quality of GR-8416, the network size can be modified up to 125 by flexible behaviour, enabling users freely join/leave the network and maximizing throughput of the network.

Dual Voice-Channel

    The radio supports concurrent dual voice-channels enabling users easily communicate with PTT operation and this will be effective not to distract pilots' attention during the mission.

Dual or Single Antenna for Tx/Rx

    Users can install dual or single antenna to the airborne or vehicle. When you drive the airborne, the connection to the ground command post will be affected by the position of airborne. In order to ensure reliable connectivity to others in the network, we recommend users install dual antenna on the top/bottom of the airborne body.

Jam Resistance

    Particularly, GR-8416 supports high hopping rate up to 76800hps enabling digitized, jam-resistant secure voice communication under extreme battle environment.
    ■Message Type
    GR-8416 supports 4 types of message structure- Standard Double Pulse, Packed 2 Double Pulse, Packed 2 Single Pulse, Packed 4 Single Pulse. These message structures have different anti-jamming capability.
    ■Anti-Jamming Mode
    This radios provides 7 anti-jamming modes both for secure and frequency hopping communication.

Extended Sync Endurance

    More than 3 hours of synchronization endurance will increasingly enhance the survivability of the radio in networked battlefield.
