Glocom’s The GR-8100HV HF/VHF manpack opens a bald new chapter in the Glocom tradition of high performance HF tactical radios. It is the smallest, lightest, fastest wideband HF manpack available. Engineered for advanced security and performance, the Wideband HF/VHF Tactical Radio System features industry-leading encryption, breakthrough data performance and interoperability with fielded Glocom radios, including GR-150 HF Manpack and GR-310 V/UHF Manpack. This is HF manpack with wideband data capability for use in LOS and BLOS tactical environment. The radio’s wideband waveform supports bandwidths from 3 to 24 kHz enabling users transmit data at the speed of up to 20 times faster than previous generation of HV/VHF radios.
3G Automatic Link Establishment (3G ALE)
The radio features high-performance 3G Automatic Link Establishment which supports reliable linking even under the challenging channel conditions. Even if you have no experience in HF communication, this radio allows you easily search the open channel band and fastly establish a reliable link for high-speed data transmission. If available, 3G ALE and data link protocols search clear band of up to 24kHz and provide fast, error-free data transfer of 51.2kbps data rate in the extreme terrain and radio environment.
