GR-611E Secure Personal Radio (SPR) is designed specially to meet the unique demands of providing secure and reliable voice, data, video and situational awareness at soldier level. Optimized for maximum performance across the highly variable environments where soldiers operate in, and enabling range extending networks, GR-611E ensures reliable connectivity between squad members and command level under extreme communication conditions in battlefield. GR-611E extends the communication range with multi-hop relay function and provides TDMA Ad-Hoc networking, simultaneous voice and data transmission, high data rate up to 1Mbps enabling video transmission. It’s unique ability is jam resistance with technology of DSSS and frequency hopping. All transmissions are secured by built-in 256-bit AES encryption algorithm. The radio is data-enabled and incorporates a built-in GPS receiver, allowing easy-to-use blue force tracking. Bluetooth data interface allows connection to Android—mobile devices for enhanced data applications. The SPR - reliable and secure connectivity for every soldier, is assured by Glocom.
Ad-hoc Networking
Self-forming, self-healing multi-hop TDMA network is one of the key advantages of GR-611E radio, enabling soldiers join the network in challenging urban and tactical environments. Its unique technology allows high survival connectivity between dismounted soldiers in situation where traditional backbone is not available or out of reach. Up to 4-hop automatic voice & data relaying efficiently extends the coverage in the battlefield enhancing seamless connectivity for dismounted soldiers. Scalable networking is unique quality of GR-611E, the network size can be modified up to 30 by flexible behavior, maximizing throughput of the network.
Live Video Streaming over the Network
GR-611E provides full-motion video services on the move. Even in challenging urban and tactical environments, GR-611E can easily transmit mission-critical voice, data, imagery and video, providing dismounted operators with access to real-time intelligence for increased situational awareness. 2-hop relayed video streaming allows operators in headquarters, 10km away from the battlefield, get real-time COP and support soldiers at edge to quickly make critical decisions for combat effectiveness.
Advanced Soldier Audio Features
GR-611E provides advanced soldier audio features including full-duplex voice communication and VOX (voice operated switch) for soldiers.
■Full-duplex voice communication is implemented by advanced echo-cancellation technology, enabling soldiers conveniently talk and listen at the same time. ■VOX function provides users hands free operation while voice communication.
